I love Etsy. I always feel inspired when I search through the many listings of handmade art pieces. It reminds me that I am not the only person in this world trying to make it as an artist. It also keeps me in touch with trends and allows me to think about materials in new ways.
I love buying things off of Etsy and supporting other artists. I believe it is important to spend my money in a way that reflects my values. Buying handmade objects and supporting other artists and woman owned businesses definitely falls within my values.
I believe in the energy of objects. I think handmade objects hold an energy that mass produced objects do not. I can feel the heart and soul of the artist when I hold these handmade treasures in my hands. I hope my customers can feel the heart and soul of my artwork when they look at my portraits.

I am looking forward to styling more of my shoots to evoke specific feelings and emotions. I am looking forward to spring. I am also looking forward to the remaining days of winter because it is that time of year that allows me to think, dream, rest, rebirth and prepare.
